Prediction of Surface Roughness in Turning Applying the Model of Nonlinear Oscillator with Complex Deflection

چکیده

This paper deals with prediction of the roughness a cutting surface in turning process, applying vibration data system. A new type dynamic model for workpiece-cutting tool system, appropriate simulation, is developed. The workpiece modelled as mass-spring system nonlinear elastic property. acts on force which causes strong in-plane vibration. Based experimentally measured values, analytically described function feed ratio and speed. mathematical vibrating non-homogenous differential equation complex function. approximate solution derived analytic description obtained. depends parameters excitation force, velocity rotation properties Increasing at constant working piece, frequency decreases amplitude increases; increasing piece an increase decrease Experiments demonstrate that analytical process direct correlation roughness. predicted approximately (1–2) × 10?3 times smaller than considered this paper.
